Omahams Corp in collaboration with Kittiwake Asia Pacific are currently planning to line-up a training program for RMN Engineers and Technicians to undertake on-site oil analysis. The efforts are expected to provide the Engineers and Technicians hands-on techniques and applications used in on-site oil analysis on board the RMN ships.
An understanding was reached between Omahams Corp and the RMN today for the program to kick start in August 2011 to take place at the Lumut base to follow with Kuantan and Kota Kinabalu.

WELCOME TO MALAYSIA, MR SAMSON HO!

The Executive Chairman , YBhg Dato’ Ir Hj Ahmad Murad Bin Hj Omar had the pleasure of meeting Mr Samson Ho at his office today for a brief get-to-know session. He was accompanied by the Managing Director, Tuan Hj Mohd Said Hj Omar and the Head of Engineering, Captain (R) Sawal Bin Alif. Mr Rajarathnam Krishnan, Regional General Manager, Promat International (Asia Pacific) Ltd was also present at the meeting.
Mr Samson Ho is the new Managing Director of Promat International (Asia Pacific) Ltd replacing Mr Erik v Diffelen in May of this year. He hailed from Hong Kong and has been with Promat Group for the past 20 years. Due to the nature of his work he travels a great deal to many parts of the world and to him Malaysia is not a strange place. 6-MONTH PROGRAM TO BENEFIT BUSINESS OWNERS & DECISION MAKERS

Boustead Naval Shipyard (BNS) in conjunction with Kulim Hi-Tech Park Company (KTPC) and ActionCOACH Business Coaching embarked on a strategic collaboration in providing coaching to vendors and business owners to make them better businessmen.
An introductory session was held at Lumut on 18 May 2011 comprising largely of BNS’ current vendors. The program was mainly targeted at the business owners of the vendors to familiarise themselves with the tested and proven method of managing business concerns The full program comprise 8 modules which is to run for six months beginning 14 & 15 June 2011 and to end on 15 December 2011. PROMAT PROMAGUARD & PROMAGLAF SYSTEM SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED ON KD MAHAWANGSA

In March 2010, Omahams Corp (OC) was awarded a job to install Promaguard and Promaglaf in the galley of KD MAHAWANGSA. Work on the installation commenced almost immediately. Being the first job undertaken, the Company encountered many challenges not earlier expected but owing to its determination and burning desire to produce execellent result, all obstacles and difficulties were effectively overcome. Petaling Jaya. A half-day seminar was held at Promat (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (Promat) at its premises at Lorong Dungun, Damansara Heights, Petaling Jaya on 13 August 2009.
The seminar was jointly hosted by Omahams Corp and Promat. The participants are a group of officers and engineers from the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) and Boustead Naval Shipyard.
The aim was to increase awareness and understanding of Promat marine products and systems.The seminar started with a warm welcome address by Mr Rajarathnam Krishnan and followed by an introduction on the global and regional Promat organization by Mr Erik D van Diffelen. Mr Ian Holt, Technical Director, took on the remaining slot with the overview of selected Promat marine products and capped with the Q&A session.
The seminar ended on a positive note by the participants which augured well for Promat marine products to feature in the RMN ships.

Petaling Jaya. Omahams Corp entered into a Collaboration Agreement with Maritime Technical Center (MTC) on 11 August 2009 in a signing ceremony held at its HQ in Petaling Jaya. It officially came into effect on 10 September 2009.
The signing of the agreement was completed by Omahams Corp which was represented by its Managing Director Tuan Haji Mohd Said Haji Omar and the Executive Director, YBhg Datin Normah Binti Bakar. While Ir Mohd Fauzi Yaakob, Managing Director and Puan Puteri Aina Megat Ameir Noordin, Executive Director representing MTC. The auspicious event was witnessed by Omahams Corp Chairman, YBhg Laksamana Dato’ Ir Haji Ahmad Murad Bin Haji Omar.
The event was well attended by largely the company’s diversed clienteles as well as stakeholders.
In his address, the Chairman stated that this event is regarded as an important milestone in the company’s journey into bigger and more sustainable business venture since the company was first formed. It was fervently hoped that Omahams Corp and MTC would be able to complement, synergize and capitalize on each other’s strengths and capabilities to create a formidable impact in the market place for the two entities.
For MTC, its MD Ir Mohd Fauzi reiterated that even though the company comprise young and energetic professionals it nevertheless not lacking in term of experience and exposure in the their specialized areas of expertise.
With the signing, Ir Mohd Fauzi was appointed the company’s Technical Director.
