Mohd Said Hj Omar
Managing Director

A UiTM graduate in banking and a former banker for over 30 years, Mohd Said has been the Managing Director since the company’s inception in 2004. A co-founding director/shareholder he is substantially responsible in the overall management of Omahams Corp.

Started his career with Bank Pertanian Malaysia (now known as Agro Bank) in early 1972 before moving to Malayan Banking Berhad (Maybank) in May of that year. Initially served as banking operations officer and gradually moving up the ladder of responsibility as Branch Manager and Regional Manager. Areas of proficiency included among others International Trade, Retail and Enterprise Business Banking focusing on Small & Medium enterprises, formulation of banking business methods and procedures for adoption by the bank and industry. He moved to the HQ in July 2002 as the Head, Entrepreneurial Development Department until May 2004 when he left the Bank to establish Omahams Corp.

With such an illustrative and solid background in banking and finance Mohd Said has been instrumental in ensuring that all operations of the company are well managed with the highest level of integrity and transparency which are the hallmark of the company.

He is married to Nora Elias and blessed with three children, Ahmad Johan 31, Nur Syirin 28 and Nur Fatin 24. He has 2 grand-daughters and a grand-son.
